Kdo se těšil na 19. únor, kdy mělo konečně po několika odkladech vyjít slibovaný album Free The Universe od projektu Major Lazer, kterej společně tvořej producenti Diplo, Walshy Fire & Jillionaire, má opět smůlu. I když ne zas tak úplně. Deska se sice opět posouvá, ale Diplo kromě omluvy fanouškům posílá taky kompenzaci v podobě free releasu Major Lazer – Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 1. Remixový EP najdete níže pod textem, a komu by to bylo málo, přihazujeme pár dní starý Diplo video k tracku Butter’s Theme ft. Gent & Jawns, kde si ve výbornym klipu střihne krátký cameo i Ellie Goulding.
Our fans are the most important part of what makes Major Lazer what it is. It is with that consideration that “FREE THE UNIVERSE” will not be released this month as previously scheduled. We never want to disappoint our supporters but circumstances out of our control have made us unable to keep the intended date. For anyone disappointed, we are truly apologetic and we promise that this hiccup has only made what we have planned for the album stronger.
